Death Sucks...
A long time ago, there was a magical town in the Upper Middle Part of a Glorious Country. To that town came from far away a new family. In that family was a shy, scared, belligerent girl, who was angry, because she didn't understand why she had been uprooted from all that she held dear.

Next door was a family and there were three girls! And the middle girl was the nicest, sweetest, kindest one of all. She made an awkward misfit feel welcome, always. She was adored by all, and was a friend to every living creature. She had a smile that held the sun.

The new family moved on, as was their way. But the misfit never forgot the middle girl. She liked to imagine that the Magical Town stayed the same, even as she moved on, from place, to new place, to next new place. Even as she outgrew her misfit ways, and married, and had a daughter, she remembered, and she never went back to the Magical Town, as she had to other places because she didn't want reality to take away her memories of that year.

One sad day, in the Spring of the year, the former misfit learned of the middle girl, who was now a mother herself. The middle girl was
gravely ill, and knew that her time on the Earth was not long. And in the Autumn, her fight was over, her race was run. And the misfit grieved deeply. In her heart, the little blonde middle girl and the Magical Town will live on.
