Yes! You could say "I" as often as I do. My posts are longer. :) I agree about Haiti. The thing is that those people are already incredibly poor and it is very dangerous to live there. So it's unbelievable to see what has happened. My favourite French teacher arrived there just two hours before the earthquake (to visit a sick relative). Fortunately he is OK. Interestingly, our Governor General (our head of State) was originally a refugee to Canada from Haiti. She was fighting back the tears on tv today. Canada always donates a lot to Haiti anyhow, since there are many French Canadian organizations with ties there. Anyhow, good luck to all of them.

We have Haitians come to the city to the place where I do volunteer work and some are like wild animals, starving, desperate ones, in their need the "get" things. Sigh... Heifer International is heading a relief appeal. It seems a practical way to help... /F
