Oh Fifi. I am sorry about the dog. Do you know, one of the saddest days in my life was when my parents put down my Golden Retriever Brodie, at the age of seven (he had inoperable cancer). He had unfortunately been bred a bit unscrupulously, probably - or at least not carefully - and he had had hip displaysia and surgery at age 3. He had the most beautiful personality of any dog I have ever known and I still think of him as a best pal long gone. It is true - the are like people only sometimes even better! :) Oh and I completely agree with you about ankle boots. The new look is short skirts and dresses with ankle boots. Some of the boots are not terrible if they have a high heel, but I would never wear them. Not good unless you have legs a mile long and like sticks (yes, a horizontal line cuts off one's legs at the ankles). They also look plain silly with fancy dresses, which I've seen. Fashion really can be ridiculous. I always wonder why people don't judge for themselves what looks nice and especially nice on THEM. The only trends that I follow are ones that make me feel pretty. Like ruffles. I wore ruffles this year. I like ruffles. :)
