#1 - Good for you for giving blood. I failed a giving once, also due to low iron and I started taking iron pills prior as a counter measure. Approximately 86 donations later, I'm still giving it up and to think, I started doing it just to get out of work... #7 - I've heard of Bela Fleck, but am totally unfamiliar with his (?) music. You can bet I'll be checking it out later tonight and if anything can get my mind off DONNA THE BUFFALO, I'm sure I can find room for it on my playlist! #10 - Old Ladyhood? Not even close, but you are right - cherish this Biba time! It may be better; it may be worse, but it will never be the same. Yes, living in the here and now. AND, btw, thank you so much for you Bela tip! I really depend on advice of others whilst exploring new music and Bela wasn't even on my radar. I like the entire Drive CD, and Slipstream, See Rock City, and The Lights of Home are my initial favorites. Very similar to TIGER MAPLE STRING BAND, who I will see this weekend. I checked out some of his other work, too, and I know I will be getting some mp3 tracks off of Napster, if not the whole CD. Thanks again! Feel free to pass on any other music tips you think I might like - I think we have similar tastes in music! XO :)

I shall check out that bluegrass too, though I'm not really clear what bluegrass is. I love Hiasson though - there was one made into a shit film with Demi Moore, strip tease perhaps? Fab book, rotten film xxx

No!!! That horrid thing was based on Hiaason??!!! I never could bring myself to see it. The book was brill, though. I am on my fourth one now. My friend Earl has every one and is funneling them to me.
