I think a 4-foot training obelisk is ideal. (Until you've mastered it, and are ready to move on up to a full-size obelisk.) Welcome to my world of surreal linguistic interpretation. I love how you keep naming all these plants I've never heard of. And I'm increasingly ashamed of the condition of my back garden. Two years after it was little more than a place to park heavy construction equipment... and the only gardening I ever seem to manage is to 'weed' it of some of the half-bricks and other chunks of waste that are still scattered here and there. I'm so bad.
