Fifi - I am confident that your dad is going to be fine and that the summer will be great! All the best wishes to him and to you. Good for you re. all of your productivity. Why in the heck do you still not have rum though? And why aren't you getting up to see Morris dancing? ;-)

I hope that my comment about your dad doesn't sound blase - I just don't want you to worry. It is great that it was caught early. I am glad for that. XO

Poor Fifi. My father has also recently been diagnosed with cancer, although in his case it's prostate cancer and a lot of men can live a long, long time with that. Die 'with it' rather than 'of it'. So now he gets slow-release hormone thingies injected every few weeks. (Yeah; I'm gender-confused, and he gets the hormones. Ah well.) Then, while he was in hospital one time, he collapsed and it turned out that he had a heart problem. (Right place to collapse, if you're going to, I suppose...) Again, it turned out that it's not immediately life-threatening, but I fear these two things mark the beginning of a new phase in his life, where we have to accept that he's mortal, after all. Comes to us all, I suppose. Message me any time, if you want. Jx
