Fifi, You're a charming writer. I'm really sorry about Biba's situation. I'm sure she'll work out what to do. Good luck and a big hug!

Your numbered entries had me wondering if the penultimate one was going to be simply "?????" and the final one "Profit!" Clearly a lot going on in Fifi's brain right now. Just remember that the media will always seek to sensationalise, and they need a steady diet of freaks to feed through their condemnation machine. A few years ago, just after 9/11 I remember some UK muslims calling their new son Osama and going on the news to say that Bin Laden was a great leader. Some people will do _anything_ for their fifteen minutes of fame! Biba's situation will fly by, I'm sure. All things in childhood happen at 250%, and a lot of unwise things are tried, as I recall... and better to learn from situations while you have a safe, loving environment to come home to, eh? Jxx

I know what you mean about people. All my friends are thoroughly decent human beings and I tend to think that's how the world is. Then I listen to a radio phone in and want to weep. Ah well. Love xxx

Sometimes, it feels as if we have no progress at all, doesn't it?
