Well, all tearing down processes I think precede another type of building up. I hope that you're not really being broken down, though. Hmm...I really don't like broccoli at all, if I'm honest. But I force myself to eat it. I would eat a tonne of broccoli though if it had cheese sauce on it, so I imagine the salty zip of oyster sauce helps, too. My mom used to pull the cheese sauce trick on me. You know, I really didn't like the Shipping N3ws about the first three times that I started it (it was a gift), but eventually I finished it and actually liked it reasonably well. Not a favourite, but still a good book. Take care of yourself, Fifi.

Fifi my darling, be careful with yourself. This needs to go at once to the top of your to-do list and stay there until you feel steady as a rock again and have done for some time. I found The Depression Workbook (recommended by Hilthethrill) to be full of useful lists and ways of taking you through the bad times, but I still had to sell my house and all sorts of other suggestions were undoable for me at the time and as you may have noticed I fell right back into the pit. I loved The Shipping News but that was before breakdown No1. Pratchett is much more the thing - have you tried PG Wodehouse? He's very silly too with fantastic language. Big Hugs xxxx

Not to worry, it isn't as dramatic as all that. I deffo keep a thumb on the pulse of things here and if they are getting out-of-hand, I can just go haring off for help. This is just sort of a "meh" stage, which I am hoping will lead to more good. Anna, I think that I might have tried Wodehouse but I deffo ought to revisit! XO to you all! OOH! Anna, I've just remembered, you were in my dream last night! I was introducing you as "Mrs. Notbob" to somebody else...
