Re: other diaries. I think I'm agreeing with you with the premise that what we see is what they are, or at least, we're seeing the dominant side of their personality; that can be either good or bad. In your case, I'd say it is good as you consistently demonstrate a certain free-spirited, carefree/happy attitude toward life, and in my mind, I'd like to believe that's how you are in your non-diary, real life. I know there have been some "famous fakers" here on d-land in years past (I can't remember the names, but one in particular had a bunch of people faked out with stories of tragedy in her life and pulled a bunch of people into the abyss with her), BUT, I want to think that most people here are being as genuine as they can be. Even if that shows how screwed up they are, and I'd like to think that's in the minimum, too. :)

I'm still trying to work out if "we put the canoe in on the canal" is a euphemism for a tryst. We do indeed only see part of a diarist's life, and I'm trying really hard to find a balance between glossing over the boring bits, and lying by omission. Final thought: clones are people two :)

MFV, you ARE a cheeky one! "Clones are people two" indeed! I was wondering if anyone would catch all the references. Oh, And no, sometimes a canoe is just a canoe... Swimmmy, sadly, I am most likely even goofier in real life. Ned once told me that I was the goofiest person that he had ever met, and I was ridiclously pleased by that. But I do let people know when I am feeling bad. Also I do change names. But sometimes I have to read more closely to work out who I named what...
