Fifi, This was a lovely sentence, anyhow: "I saw in a gentle rain that the sun shone through anyway a bright male Goldfinch eating seeds from the Sunflowers and a bright red male Cardinal grooving on the lilac tree," but I must tell you that the image of a red male Cardinal on a lilac tree is SOO vivid. Right away I could see it. Such a wonderful contrast. And of course, grooving is alright. Someone needs to balance out all of that World Angst. :)

I just looked up 'blivet'. I had to... which probably says a lot about me. "Ten pounds of manure in a five-pound bag" seems to be the consensus, in a bad sense. Not five pounds of fertiliser free, but an unlovely, bulging thing that you'll never manage to re-pack once you open it. Which sounds a little bit like my life. Anyway, it's not yet 7AM and I've learned a new word today. Yay!
