I actually, surprisingly, knew that about squash. I also know waaaay too much about animal husbandry, on account of the fact that the smartest woman I've ever met in my life is a geneticist married to my uncle the entomologist, and they're both obsessed whenever I am in a car with them with making me more knowledgeable about nature--and human intervention in nature--than I've ever wanted to be. :) Biba sounds so cute--bonus is a great word!

How cool is that. (I think that's a great major. :)) My dad was a veterinarian; I've probably mentioned that. There vet school that he attended is one that is attached to a Canadian university that got its start as an agricultural university, so my dad actually started out as a large animal veterinarian. And then his upbringing in the big city drew him back there. :) (And thanks for the laugh!)

Once he even stitched me up when I had fallen on glass. (And I was not the worse for wear--I rather like the earthiness of rural life, actually.) (And thanks for the laugh re. the morning *sessions*!)
