9:24 p.m. - 2009-06-04 Last night I went to the seisiun, and I took a synth head tunable instead of my reguar goatskin tunable. Bodhrans, that is. I had actually given the synth head away the previous week because I never spent much time with it before I got my usual, which is a Galway one but I am not exactly certain of who actually made it so I'll just say Galway and leave it at that. It's seen much hard usage, but I love it anyway in spite of it's acquired flaws. But I've never been able to go up and down the tones like the dude in Danu. At any rate, when I was taking the synth head through it's paces before I gave it away, (forch for me she didn't like it and gave it back!)I realised that that is exactly why I haven't been able to---because a synth head works so much better. Deffo not as loud, though, as I found out last night. KayKay was there and we had such a good time. We decided that we were going to form a group called The Drumming Girlies. We'd say "We're the Drumming Girlies, and we're gonna f*ck up your beat!!! Well, I suppose that you'd have had to have been there, but we really had so much fun, AND this time she didn't even cop a feel. Heh, I love that expression, even though it is extremely vulgar. I also love the word "vulgar". In conclusion, because I have next to no time, there was a "discussion" about education and paying taxes and all of that going on and people really didn't seem to want to fund education. So I said "Think of it as investing in the customer service of tomorrow." Gotta go! Ecks Oh! 2 comments
